What Gifted reads from ADP
Gifted reads; it never writes back, so ADP stays the record of truth.
| What | Direction | What it powers |
|---|---|---|
| Name and work email | Addressing the gift to a person, and delivering the link | |
| Birthday | Birthday campaigns | |
| Hire date | Work anniversary campaigns and the tier for each year | |
| Onboarding status | Welcome gifts as new hires finish onboarding | |
| Department and location | Budget assignment, local delivery and report filters |
Only the fields that drive a gift are read, and only for the people you put in scope.

Frequently asked
Does the integration cost anything?
No. The platform fee is $0, there is no charge to connect ADP and no per-employee fee. You pay for gifts and nothing else.
What data does Gifted store?
Only the fields listed above, and only for the people in scope. Gifted is ISO 27001 certified and both GDPR and CCPA compliant.
What happens when someone leaves?
Their scheduled gifts stop. Gifted reads employment status from ADP, so nothing is sent to a person who is no longer there.
Does it work for people outside the United States?
Yes. Gifted delivers to 150+ countries, and the location field from ADP decides what each person can choose from.
